Empowered by a boon of invincibility over all species, King Hiranyakashyapu conquered and controlled the totality of the universe, harassing all the virtuous and religious devotees. His son, Prahlada, on the contrary had a natural love for Lord Narayan. When Hiranyakashyapu saw this, he instructed the acharya to teach Prahlada not to worship Vishnu and that the King himself was God! But the boy learnt nothing that the Guru sought to teach him as he strongly held on to his relentless faith and devotion to Lord Narayana.

You are invited to join Swamiji at Chinmaya Mission and listen to the discourses presenting the devotional story of Prahlada and how to instill that total devotion in our hearts.
