Dear Family and Friends,
I just registered for the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes and accepted the challenge to raise money for JDRF. The Walk draws people together in a healthy activity for a worthy cause. At the same time, it raises money to improve the lives of every person affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, better treating, and preventing T1D.
This year’s Walk takes place on October 14, 2012, and I’m writing to ask for your support. Now more than ever, EACH of us can make a real difference in the lives of people with T1D.
