Sunil and Rita Shah Happy 30th wedding Anniversary
It’s said marriages are made in heaven but celebrated on earth. Today this lovely and awesome couple are celebrating their strong bondage, love, respect and mutual admiration with their two equally lovable, handsome, talented, cultured and religious minded sons Swapnil & Sahaj. Swapnil is a law student at Ann Arbor, Mi and Sahaj is studying graphic design at Columbia College popularly known as DJ Ruckiss. Sunil Shah came to USA in June 1990 ie nearly 22 years back from Mumbai, India to settle in Chicago, USA.with his wife Rita and son SwapNil. He is the youngest of 7 brothers and their family is popularly known as Shah family. He belongs to a reputed and illustrious family from Mumbai, having several manufacturing businesses in Gujarat & Mumbai.
He is also involved in hospitality business and is the Founder President of (New) FIA, Chicago, IL. Both husband and wife are actively involved with several organizations and temples and devote considerable amount of time, money and energy for worthy causes in the community. Very rarely we will find a couple who involve themselves whole heartedly and support different religions and faiths irrespective of caste, creed or color.
Rita Shah is a versatile singer and has performed with several leading singers including late Mahendra Kapoorji, solely for charitable cause. They are also actively involved in doing fund raising activities with different associations for several candidates running for local and state offices. We at Asian Media have witnessed their philanthropic activities and are indeed very proud to have this opportunity to wish them a very happy, prosperous and joyous married life. It’s our moral obligation to appreciate and recognize such committed community leaders who are indeed gems.
They celebrated their 25th anniversary at India house five years back in the presence of prominent community members and their entire family comprising of 70 people including friends from India. Presidents and leaders of several Chicago Associations and Temples were present on that day to shower their blessings and praises on this couple for supporting several religious institutions and organizations.
