Message from Organizers: ‘Let’s make a difference in kids’ lives who are suffering from various life threatening diseases. We are all parents and we know how much we love our kids… let us work to help those kids and families who are battling with their lives. MGCO’s goal is not to just ask for donation; rather we would like to organize various events for general public so that they get something in return. Earlier this year (July 15, 2012), MGCO successfully organized “Sports Day Camp” for kids. The event took place at Twin Lakes Recreational Area, where 30+ kids played various games to win prizes. During the kid’s event, we had a sand-volleyball tournament for adults, where 7 teams participated. We raised close to $2500 from this event. The committee is in talks right now for upcoming event gear towards kids. Few ideas are: – New Year celebration with kids, Talent Show for kids & adults theatrical Drama competition.

The Masti Group Charitable Organization (MGCO) is a registered non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, with their volunteer based membership dedicates their efforts and time to ensure 100% of the funds raised are applied towards research and other community betterment programs. The MGCO, over the past four years has committed to be part of having different mission and visions. Our goal this year is to raise funds for children’s memorial hospital. We can still make Difference in the Kids’ Life who is suffering from Life Threatening Diseases. We all are Parents and we know how much we love our children. So I hope we all together Have fun in a family environment which was the main reason why MASTI GROUP got together a decade back. With our changing priorities and our lives getting busier with jobs, kids. I feel we have put Masti back in our life. Let’s relive those years and make our lives happier and of course with that we will give few happy moments to families who are really struggling to see their kids live One More happy Day!!!

Aside from raising money, Masti Group is also dedicated to raising awareness about cancer within our community. Masti Group participates in many cancer awareness related activities sponsored by other cancer foundations. Additionally, Masti Group organizes their own fundraiser and invites guest speakers or distributes literature on cancer. Masti Group Charitable Organization has raised $7000 since its inception in October of 2008. All the proceeds from our fundraising efforts will be sent directly to a Cancer Research Foundation of our choice. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Nearly everyone knows someone who is affected by it. All the proceeds from our fundraising efforts will be directed towards funding important clinical research projects. We have focused attention on cancer and raised money for life giving research. We pay a tribute to the scientists who have dedicated themselves to finding a cure and to meet the young researchers who are the next generation of fighters against this disease. The message we send today is that those who suffer from cancer are not alone and that together we can work toward a solution.
