Aurora’s 2025 Diwali Celebration Illuminates Unity and Cultural Pride

Eola Road into a radiant hub of light, culture, and community for Aurora’s 2025 Diwali Celebration, drawing an estimated 3,000 attendees. Families adorned in resplendent saris, lehengas, and kurtas joined newcomers in celebrating the Festival of Lights — a vibrant expression of joy, unity, and cultural pride. Welcomed by free admission and parking, guests immersed themselves in a feast for the senses. The air was filled with the aromas of spicy chaat and sweet gulab jamun as more than 45 vendors showcased handcrafted jewelry, traditional attire, and unique merchandise each creation reflecting the artistry and spirit of Indian heritage. Festivities began early, with vendors preparing before dawn and the cultural showcase commencing at 3 p.m. The celebration opened with IACOAB Chair Nitin Fuldeore lighting a traditional diya, its warm glow symbolizing hope and renewal. In his remarks, Fuldeore encouraged the crowd to “spread joy and positivity,” expressing heartfelt appreciation for the volunteers, more than ten sponsors, and dozens of vendors whose dedication brought the event to life.
