Holi also known as Dhuli Vandana in Sanskrit, is familiar to many as Dhuleti, Dhulandi, a rich Hindu culture celebrated at the end of winter season on the last full moon day of the lunar month Phalguna. Holi infuses vibrancy and enthusiasm, bringing excitement at palpable extremes to each one and every person celebrating the Mela. The broad smile, garish clothes and enthusiasm said it all. Holi celebrations at Rama temple brought out the best out from children and adults, families and friends, people known to each other and otherwise; applying the vibrant colors and wishing each other love, happiness and harmony. Holi celebrations were started early with a cultural program organized by Smt. Rupa Acharya (Cultural Chairperson, HTGC) and DJ Nilesh Patel.
